Compliance with Law 25
Law 25 notably impacts the practices of health professionals, including psychologists. As a psychologist and within the framework of my clinic, I now have the following responsibilities:
Apply the Personal Information Protection Act.
Respond to requests relating to personal information (e.g. access, rectification, cessation of dissemination, etc.).
Implement governance rules relating to personal information.
Maintain records of communication of personal information.
Notify the Commission for Access to Information of any confidentiality incident involving personal information.
Maintain a record of privacy incidents involving personal information.
Other measures will also be put in place by 2024. Additional information will follow.
Security Commitment
The site undertakes to take all necessary measures to protect the personal information recorded, whether on electronic or paper media. However, it is important to note that, despite our efforts, the site cannot guarantee that the security measures will prevent a malicious third party from accessing the information exchanged and stored.
